Stephanie was born and raised in Northwest Iowa. She attended Iowa State University and studied horticulture. Following graduation, she spent 13 years in Fort Worth, Texas where she most recently worked as a landscape designer. After meeting her husband, Eric (who also had roots in Iowa despite being raised in California!), they returned to Iowa in 2015. They reside on their 18 acre farm just outside Earlham with their 2 cats and flock of chickens.
